It is remarkable how easily recognizable a human space is long after the humans who’s space it was have left. This captures well that odd sense of present absence.

Yes absolutely, and that’s exactly what I felt as I wandered through this abandoned old farmhouse, sensing and wondering about the lives lived there so many years ago. That’s why this is probably one of my favourite shots, purely for the sense of memory it evokes. Thanks for the comment and visit, both are much appreciated.
