Three very atmospheric shots! I love the first photo – the silhouette with the wheat in the foreground.

Very evocative and emotional images, your processing adds atmosphere without coming across as being gimmicky. Nicely done!

Thanks so much! Yeah, I felt a bit experimental with these, glad they turned out ok however.

Very intriguing blog, I particularly like your monochrome work. You really know how to capture atmosphere in your black and white shots. Like others, I particularly enjoy the first shot of this series. Keep up the good work and thanks a lot for visiting my own blog.

Yeah, it’s quite the spooky place, especially when there’s a few dark clouds around. Thanks!

love the imagery, and the coloring! may i ask if you’re shooting film?
September 5, 2011 at 3:44 am
Thanks so much for the kind compliment, it really is much appreciated you know. And to answer your question, no unfortunately I’m not shooting film, which I would very much prefer, but it’s sadly not possible at the moment. But that might change soon…
Where’s your blog so btw? It seems like you deleted it, is that true? Hope not!

ooh, the editing is very well done then! i was almost sure it was film! i’d love to shoot film too. i’m looking for a 60s nikon dslr currently. the price of film is so expensive it makes me wary.
i did not! is it no longer showing up? i’ll look at my settings…

i don’t know how to get the link to work properly… i edited the API settings. it’s somehow stuck on an old art site that i formed with a friend that was later deleted.
