Nowhereville (Chapter 1)
And so it begins. This project, this passionate affair, finally in full swing. Here we go, and how it will go, only sweet mother time will tell. Yes, it may crash and burn, it might ‘fail’, but then again, it might not. Let’s see.
Thanks a million to everyone that’s been with me so far, and stick around, the dice is very much in play…
The project site’s up, and there’s a new page that will redirect you to forthcoming updates. So, please do have a look every now and again.
Regular scheduling on this site should commence soon…
* For some bizarre, and utterly confounding reason the site’s widget refuses to embed, so the best I can do for the moment is to post a link, but hopefully I’ll be able to change that soon.
And here it is: http://www.indiegogo.com/Nowhereville?a=428070
And somehow it’s still beautiful.

I like the randomness of the doorways, windows, garage/barn door. The asymmetry is so interesting as the visual aspect abandonment. Congrats on getting the link up and running! Here’s to prosperity!

Yeah, and initially I didn’t really like the asymmetry of this shot at all, initially I found it rather distracting, but then it kinda started to grow on me. Thanks Marina! And yes, we’ll see how it goes…I must admit that I’m suddenly rather nervous about the whole thing, LOL.

Chapter 1 is beautiful. Yes JP, here’s to prosperity and your “passionate affair” -apparently you’re having whiskey (root canal ugh) , I will go pour myself an Amarula and raise a glass to you –

Thanks so much Karen, and cheers to you too! Yes, I had the bloody root canal, and yes, of course it was completely & utterly awful. But, the whiskey certainly helps, LOL.
Btw, I love, love the trailers you posted. Man, how cool is that!

Ah yes, thanks so very much man! I mean you’re the one that got the ball rolling, and for that I’m ever so thankful. Oh yes, you’ll definitely receive some old school news from the road & a print of your choice. All the best brother, and thanks again.

Call it a passionate affair is the best you can do, brother, because that’s what photography is all about. And your storytelling is so full of roads, roaming & rambling that it makes my heart stop beating. And I’m convinced that the goals will be achieved. A one of kind portfolio & story, the money raising, a great book. Believe me I am as excited as you are, JP.
The promising first chapter: A sad & overwhelming frame. A signature gem, my friend!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Yeah, these affairs of the heart, so consuming and overwhelming, but what will we have without them? I really hope that this one can run it’s course, that it can reach it’s final conclusion…
Thanks so much, brother.
